NextGen Expo 2017
During the NextGen Expo attendees can engage with interactive exhibits from leading sponsors and participating universities, explore the farm, meet the innovative teams and see technology coming to agriculture! All ages from are welcome to enjoy a unique day at the farm. Lessons in technology, software, mechanical engineering, botany, aquatic ecology and more are explored by attendees.
NextGen Expo is held the day prior to competitions at Gerrish Farms in Rockville, Indiana. Volunteer guided tours are available at the top of each hour, lasting between 30 – 45 minutes. During the tours attendees will learn more about the host organizations, sponsor groups, exhibitors, teams and universities.
Admission to NextGen Expo is free with pre-registration online. Food vendors will be available, but groups may also bring food and non-alcoholic drinks onto the grounds. Free parking is available to all.
Guest Speaker, Ted McKinney, addresses the crowd to discuss innovative technology, entrepreneurship, agriculture and education in Indiana.
Attendees enjoy hands on learning about robotics from The Climate Corporation.
